How does it work?

The photons released by the light enter the cells of the body and are absorbed by mitochondria, the "power plant" of the cells. Here ATP (the energy) is produced. The photon stimulates energy metabolized in the muscles and bones, as well as in the skin. This can accelerate normal tissue healing and regeneration by up to 200%.

How does a Equine LTS path used?

A Equine LTS pad can be used on the legs, neck, neck, back and virtually the entire horse's body.

Place the LTS pad on top of the desired area with the lights against the skin and the logo facing up. The area must be clean and dry. Switch off the power/battery for approx. 3-5 minutes. If necessary, move the LTS to a new area.

The Equine LTS Pad has a neoprene front, making it easy to clean with a damp cloth. The back is made of dirt- and water-repellent fabric with Teflon, which also makes it easy to keep clean.

A Equine LTS pad has 2 Velcro straps, so you can put it around the horse's leg if necessary. We recommend that you always keep the LTS in the desired location so that you can monitor the treatment and the horse's response and protect the LTS as best as possible against possible damage if the horse moves during treatment.

Inflammation

The red and infrared lights in LTS reduce inflammation. This applies to inflammation in joints and muscles.

• Continuous treatment is necessary for arthritis in the joints.
• In the case of inflammation after trauma, treatment is stopped after the inflammation has disappeared.
• In case of inflammation, continue treatment until all symptoms of inflammation such as fever, redness, warmth in the area disappear for 2-3 days.
• For sprains, continue treatment until all pain is gone.

In the event of trauma, it is important to contact a veterinarian who can see the damage. Afterwards, treatment with LTS can speed healing and minimize the risk of infection.

Pain

Pain can have many causes: Trauma, arthritis, sprain and muscle pain. The red and infrared lights reduce pain relatively quickly, both pain due to acute trauma, but also pain due to arthritis.

In case of acute trauma, always call a veterinarian who can inspect and assess the injury. The area can then be treated with LTS to reduce the pain of the injury.

In the case of arthritis pain, you can treat as needed. If arthritis symptoms return, the area can be treated again or a preventive daily treatment program of 3-5 minutes per day can be started.

Pain from muscle soreness will be reduced after 3-5 minutes of treatment after a hard workout, by optimizing the cell's recovery and regeneration capacity.

Operation wound

The most important thing after surgery is that the wound heals quickly with minimal scar tissue. When treated with LTS after surgery, the healing of the surgical wound is accelerated far into the tissue, so that the wound can heal from the inside.
