Incrediwear Circulation Hoof Socks
Incrediwear Equine Circulation Hoof Socks are made to speed recovery and improve performance. The socks fit perfectly around the lower part of the horse's leg: the fetlock, pastern and the crown edge / hoof balls.
They can be used on both the front and hind legs. And if you turn the socks over, you can also use them for, for example, the hock or the knee.
The socks have a double function:
When used dry, the socks will promote blood circulation and lymphatic drainage.
When you get them wet (especially with hot water), a thermal reaction occurs that gives the socks a cooling effect.Usage Incrediwear Circulation Hoof Socks:
- For faster recovery after training
- Ter forpreparation for training
- In case of injury recovery (anti-inflammatory effect);
- On the trailer and box (in combination with Incrediwear Standing Wraps)
- For direct cooling (when wet).
How do you use Incrediwear Hoof Socks?
When used as cooling socks, we recommend using them 1-2 times a day for approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
If you use them dry, they can last up to all day (and/or night). Based on negative ion technology - not on compression. Therefore, it can be used for a longer period of time.
The Incrediwear Circulation Hoof Socks are most suitable for a horse at rest, for example on the box or trailer - the Circulation Bandages are more suitable for a moving horse.
Cooling effect
Make the Circulation Hoof Socks wet with water for an immediate cooling effect. The socks remain cool for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, perfect for reducing swelling, for example. For more/stronger cooling, hot (!) water can be used - place the Circulation Hoof Socks 2 minutes in hot water, squeeze excess water from the socks and let them cool for a minute before applying.
Tip: If your horse has shoes, you can cover the nails with a piece of tape to prevent them from damaging the material when putting on/taking off the socks. Also useful if your horse does not have shoes, but has sharp edges on the hoof.
