EquiGastro pHix
EquiGastro pHix is the go-to product for every horse with stomach or digestive problems.
The special broad composition of the active ingredients ensures a wide application with a quickly visible effect in many horses, regardless of the problem.
EquiGastro pHix brings peace to the stomach through pectin, which coats and therefore protects an exposed gastric mucosa, in combination with various components that restore the acid/base balance. In addition, specific amino acids are added to optimize the cells of the intestinal wall. This contributes to a well-functioning intestinal wall, which ensures optimal feed utilization and a healthy general well-being of the horse.
Many horses with digestive disorders can have problems passing 'normal stools'. To address this, the product offers an effective combination of toxin binder, potato starch and psyllium husk. These active ingredients, in combination with the digestive yeast culture Saccharomyces cervisae and the prebiotic properties of inulin, provide sublime support for the intestinal flora and optimization of digestion.
EquiGastro pHix is pelleted for easy and reliable feeding. It is very tasty and can be fed pure or mixed with the horse's normal feed. The product can be mixed with wet feed - however, it should be given to the horse immediately after mixing. Can be used for horses of all ages, including pregnant and/or lactating mares.
EquiGastro pHix has been developed and tested in collaboration with Danish veterinarians.
Dosage
Can be given pure or mixed with food daily.
Normal support: 30 g per 100 kg body weight, given once a day
Increased need: Give dose 2 x daily until the desired effect is seen
Maintenance: It is often possible to halve the dosage - however, the need can be very individual.
In some cases, 2-3 months of dosing may be required before a full effect is seen.
Contents: 5 kg
The bucket has a handy "open-light" lid and contains a measuring cup for easy daily dosing.
Compound
Micronized beet pulp, toxin binder, copra flour (from coconut), hemp flour, psyllium husk, premix of minerals and vitamins, potato flour, oligosaccharides, vegetable oil, sunflower extract, inulin, yeast culture, flavors, premix of amino acids.
Analytical components: Protein 12%, crude fat 8%, wood fiber 18%, crude ash 20%, starch 8%, sugar 3%, calcium 2.5%, phosphorus 0.6%, sodium 0.2%, magnesium 2%, omega 3 fatty acids 1.5%.
Additives/kg: Amino acids and salts: Arginine/L-Arginine (3c363) 1 g., Threonine/L-Threonine (3c410) 1 g. Digestion: Saccharomyces cerevisiae (4b1702) CNCM I-4407 5x101010 CFU. Technologically logical: bentonite-montmorillonite 59.2 gr.
