Bamboo Lite compression boots made of PE are designed to provide even, gentle, and consistent pressure around the horse’s legs—gentle enough for daily use, yet effective enough to make a difference. They help reduce leg swelling when the horse is stabled and support recovery from tendon injuries and soft tissue injuries.

How to use them:

Bamboo Lite leg wraps are primarily used when the horse is at rest—in the stable at night, during transport, or during recovery periods following injury or hard work. They fit both front and hind legs and are adjustable to accommodate many different leg sizes and shapes. Apply with even, moderate pressure—not too tight, but enough to feel a constant, light pressure against the leg. Wash at 30°C and let them air dry.

They are not a substitute for veterinary treatment in cases of serious tendon injuries, but a practical and gentle tool for daily recovery and prevention.

Size guide

Premier Equine’s sizing chart uses the products’ specific measurements as a reference, namely:

• the height of the gaiter (A)
• and (B) the width of the gaiter, measured at the widest part of the gaiter (excluding any Velcro fasteners).

Bamboo Lite gaiters are available in two sizes: Medium and Large. To find the right size, we recommend measuring the leg height (from the hock down) and Width (circumference at the widest point of the lower leg).

Tip: Gaiters should typically have a 2–3 cm overlap to fit correctly. If you are unsure about the size, it is usually better to go up a size than to choose one that is too tight—especially if your horse has sturdy legs. Please contact us if you are unsure.

Care

First, remove loose hair and dry dirt with a brush and/or lint roller, then close all Velcro fasteners. The gaiters are machine washable at 30°C. We recommend using a laundry bag. 

Air dry—away from direct heat sources. Do not tumble dry. We recommend using a Velcro brush to keep the Velcro fasteners clean and maintain their ability to close properly.
